The founding team
From research to industrial application
Bamb:ustry has emerged from university research in the field of sustainable structural materials. Our interdisciplinary team examined the structural potential of fast-growing natural materials for technical applications.
As part of the research, structural prototypes were developed, mechanically validated and tested under realistic conditions.
Based on validated structural prototypes, we are now transitioning the technology into the industrial pilot phase.
The first pilot applications were successfully implemented in the areas of:
- Mobility components (e.g. stroller systems)
- Modular fair systems and exhibition construction
Our focus is currently on the scaling of manufacturing processes and integration into existing industrial value chains.
